L P N has been singing and songwriting

through several decades now.

Composing both words and music,

he is a prolific and honest witness

to our turbulent, exciting transition

across the twentieth and twenty first century.

 

His song catalogue of spiritual, romantic, political and confessional songs – and chants – now ranges

at  300 songs and counting.... His big heart, sharp mind, deep soul (and  wry humor) reveal themselves in finely crafted lyrics, with melodies riding on his resonant voice, deepened by long experience.

 

Significantly, Navon's music has recently

been propelled further by teaming up
with a wonderful musical partner:
LENA HOLT, fellow songwriter, choir director,
alto singer, keyboardist, percussionist, vocal coach and arranger. Classically trained, and with significant experience as a musical producer in theatre, as a jazz singer and a director for touring youth groups, she has immeasurably contributed to a new and

richer phase to Navon's musical endeavors....
