Now semi-retired, Graphic Design provided

Navon's bread and butter for himself and his family.

He held several full-time positions in the field,

although the majority of his career was spent as a freelancer.

Latterly, his design experience has proved invaluable

for the production of his Kabbalah books,

Song Catalogue and Poetry compilations,

and dissemination of information via the web

(including this website).

 

Many skills are necessary to be a successful designer.

These include knowledge of layout and typography,

a feel for language and the relationship between text and imagery,

along with an aptitude for the special expertises of

illustration, photography and marketing, etc.

Thus Navon has also served as an editor, and eventually

a teacher and trainer in both design and computer graphics.
